MISSION
The Northern California Lacrosse Referee Association’s mission is to provide education and training to, and support men’s and boys’ lacrosse officials in Northern California. Our goal is to ensure lacrosse officiating is synonymous with safety, sportsmanship, and fair play at every athletic contest.

VISION
The NCLRA envisions a community of well-trained, highly principled officials who approach each contest with professionalism, fairness, and deep understanding of the game. Officials must exercise independence, integrity, humility, and responsibility while mastering the rules and mechanics of lacrosse officiating.

The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) is the national leader and advocate for high school sports and performing arts in the United States, providing leadership, writing playing rules, conducting research, and offering educational resources for its member state high school associations. Its mission is to enhance the educational experiences of high school students through these activities, promoting values like sportsmanship, leadership, and healthy lifestyles.
